Shane Larisey, P.E.
Shane Larisey, P.E. graduated from Louisiana State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He started his work in the O&G industry as an Applications Engineer for Halliburton in Houston, TX working with field personnel in Oklahoma on running and implementing new drill bit designs, analyzing drilling parameters, and training field reps on new technologies. Mr. Larisey took another employment opportunity in 2008 and joined Weatherford International Inc. There he worked as a Design Engineer drafting feasibilities, designing components and testing new designs. He was promoted several times in the Completion Systems department from Operations Engineer to Sr. Applications Engineer. Mr Larisey handled quick turn-around design engineering, technical management, training, and hosting completion seminars. In 2012, Mr. Larisey became a Technical Sales Rep for accounts including XTO, Noble, Shell, Encana, and Halcon. Mr. Larisey turned back to engineering in 2014 in a new role as Sr. Applications Engineering Manager of Completion Systems with Team Oil Tools. There he provided applications and operations support in various regions across the country and around the world. With nearly a decade of experience Mr. Larisey struck out on his own and founded Janus Tech Services in 2015, providing engineering and business development consulting to the oil and gas industry.
